Hey love, let's share!
Lately I’ve caught my boyfriend being intrigued by my nightly skin care routine – which if I feel like a pamper, can take a good 30 minutes. Now, I should mention that he is the kind of guy that still only uses the cheapest bar of soap from Tesco’s and uses it for basically everything, well except for brushing his teeth – there he prefers toothpaste. Since he was showing some interest, I introduced him to my ultimate skin savour – the ‘La Roche-Posay Serozink‘ spray, and surprisingly he loved it. Now we share a couple of skin care items, and I’ve even got him his first own moisturiser. Long story short, there are many beauty products out there that can be used by both him and her – and here are our top 5.
Serozink Spray - by La Roche-Posay
Simple, easy, practical and effective (guys usually like the sound of that). This toning mist has only 3 ingredients: thermal spring water, astringent sodium chloride and zinc sulphate. The latter helps to purify blemish-prone skin, targets excess oil and helps to heal acne marks. All in all a great product for those with troublesome skin, and as my boyfriend calls it – a gateway beauty product, that opens the door to a whole lot more.
Moroccan Neroli Shaving Serum - by Aesop
Maximum slip, minimum aggravation of the skin. This low-foaming serum, helps to achieve a clean and perfect shave, every time. With it’s botanical formula it first of all smells amazing, and secondly also soothes the skin to keep irritation at bay. He can obviously use it to shave his face, and we … well, to shave whatever needs shaving.
Intense Therapy Lip Balm - by Jack Black
After a good make-out session, lips need some recovery – soothing lip balm for example. This one by the brand Jack Black has nourishing Shea butter and natural mint, which makes for extra fresh kisses, when you decide it’s time for round 2.
Sumotech - by Bumble and Bumble
Looking to give your hair a bit more grip and texture, like all those cool girls with their choppy bobs? Then this product will be right up your alley. Same for your boyfriend – the variation of styles he can create with this are endless. Flexible hold, lightweight structure, matte finish, and water-soluble – what more could you want in a hair product?
L'Eau du Trente Quatre
Not only can you dress the same as a couple (big trend in Korea), but now also smell the same. This unisex scent by Diptyque is super sophisticated and versatile, making it a fresh and great fragrance for spring and summer. It has a very warm undertone, that suits both men and women – yet it is green and lively.
