One Runway with a side of Beauty to go, please!
Okay before we get into this – Karl (Lagerfeld of course), if you are reading this:
We love you … so much!
Welcome our Runway Take-Out, where we explore the most iconic catwalk beauty looks of a renowned brand – this time it is Chanel. Ahh Chanel, always a real treat, so pleasing to the eye, never boring, and great inspiration for pimping up your own daily make-up routine.
We chose our 4 favourite looks from the past couple years, and explore Chanel’s beauty weapon.

La Ligne De Chanel Professional Eyeliner Duo - by Chanel
Chanel Ready-To-Wear Fall/Winter 2015-16
This first product is already a 2 in 1 – you can either create a super smokey eye, like Cara or sport the sexy cat-eye like Kendall on the right.
La Ligne de Chanel is a compact eye-palette that contains two shades in a single case for a smokey or graphic result. The brush can be used slightly dampened for a sharp and precise line or you can just use it dry and blend, blend, blend. Although we wouldn’t necessarily recommend bringing the colour up to your eyebrows like Ms Delivigne.

Rouge Coco Ultra Hydrating Lip colour in 444 Gabrielle - by Chanel
Chanel Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2015
Next, a real classic – the red lip. Chanel recently launched it’s new lipstick line which is named after Coco Chanel’s best friends, lovers and family. We especially love the red, which is named after, well – herself (why not).
For a modern, clean and super cool look, keep the rest of your make-up simple and low-key. Like this you create a real emphasise on your gorgeous lips. We love!

Inimitable Intense Mascara in 10 Noir - by Chanel
Chanel Resort 2014
Lashes, lashes and more lashes – these almost reach up to the sky. For his Resort Collection, Karl wanted to have dreamy and almost doll-like models running down his catwalk. And what is more dreamy than big, long, voluminous lashes?
To make this look day-appropriate, simply scale down on the rest of your make-up. It is always good to keep the rule in mind: “Either make the eyes or the lips the star of your face.”
So go for a simple nude lipstick and pair it with twiggy-like doll eyes.

Joues Contraste Powder Blush in 64 Pink Explosion - by Chanel
Chanel Resort 2013
Personally, this is my favourite look of them all. The pale skin, the baroque Chanel beauty-mark, the pastel colours … The simplicity of this look is to die for.
To take this from the runway to the street, we would say – skip the pink eyeshadow and concentrate on your gorgeous, glowing cheeks. Apply some of the Chanel Joues Contraste blush to the apples of your cheeks with an outward swiping motion. The fresh, poppy pink, will give you that healthy, young complexion that everybody is after.
