Layla Mehmedagi reviews the new Phyto Line by Sisley

Layla Mehmedagi. A freelance make-up artist who has worked for Burberry, Schön!, Dazed&Confused, and Teen Tatler Magazine (to name only a few).

Here she is reviewing a new beauty launch for MINMAX Beauty. Tried and tested – she gives us the rundown of Sisley’s new line called PHYTO and shares her pro-tips on how to apply these new beautiful additions to the make-up market.

Phyto 4 Ombres Eyeshadow - by Sisley

A creative eye shadow compact with 4 different shades, that can create a sheer or intense look – this multifaceted set contains day and night in one compact palette.

LAYLA’S PRO TIP:

For the day, use the lighter shade with a soft blending brush (or your fingers) as a wash of colour and apply some mascara to define the eyes. For a more intense colour pay-off, you can use the applicator or a flat brush. To take the look from day to night, add depth by applying the darker shade along your lash line with the pointy end of the applicator and gently blend with your finger to smooth out any hard edges.

Phyto Lip Twist - by Sisley

This super moisturising twistable chubby stick comes in 9 wearable shades. It gives a precise application providing a smooth, hydrating, and non-sticky finish – all in one twist. It is comfortable to wear, and easy to use – making it the ultimate lip care and colour combo.

LAYLA’S PRO TIP:

Team this nourishing PHYTO lip twist with flawless skin and a coat of mascara for a modern and effortless everyday look. It’s my personal summer must have!

Phyto Eye Twist - by Sisley

Sisley’s stunning new collection of waterproof PHYTO Eye Twist Pencils are retractable, creamy shadows, that glide smoothly onto the eyelid. It is a real multi-tasker: The adaptable format can be used as an eye shadow, pencil, and eyeliner – providing precision as well as making it easy to blend with fingers. Coming in a range of 8 colours and using the nourishing ingredients of Green Tea, Camellia and White Lily, this new eye pencil is a diverse and intuitive addition to every make-up bag.

LAYLA’S PRO TIP:

For an easy smoky eye – apply the shadow across the top lash line from the root to half way up the eye, and gently blend with your finger. Blend up into the socket and gently smooth away, so there are no hard edges. Use the precision tip along the waterline to intensify the look, and the flat end for more colour pay-off across your eyelid. The pointed end can be used as a precision eye liner, and blended with your finger for a soft halo of colour. As I told you, this pencil is incredibly versatile!
