The Pro's of our latest shoot 'Mother of Nails'
On set of our newest story called ‘Mother of Nails’, we asked make-up artist Tricia Woolston and manicurist Chisato Yamamoto about their absolute favourite hand creams. What are the best lotions out there, which will make your hands soft as silk? Keep reading to find out!
Hydrate & Protect Hand Cream - by Merumaya
Tricia Woolston especially likes Merumaya, because it is a British brand that is actually made in Britain and therefore by using it we are supporting our own economy.
” I also really like it because of it’s high absorbency level. You can get on with things without having to wait for it to sink it. This is due to having a high level of active ingredients that work for immediate and cumulative benefits rather than just greasy emollients. It contains Hyaluronic Acid, which is an anti-ageing ingredient and the Signature Essence contains ingredients said to lift confidence.”
Kukiu Oil Nourishing Hand Cream - by Connock London
Another one of Tricia’s favourites is the Kukui Oil Nourishing Hand Cream by Connock London.
“Kukui Oil’s unique blend of essential fatty acids seals in elevated levels of moisture and reinforces the skin’s natural barrier. All it’s vitamins and beneficial ingredients are great for anti-ageing and leave your hands looking and feeling silky smooth, supple and exceptionally soft.”
Super Aqua Hands - by Guerlain
If anyone knows about nails and hands – it’s Chisato. One of her luxurious favourites is the Super Aqua Hand lotion by Guerlain.
“It has a beautiful fragrance and provides excellent moisturising and anti-age protection. Best of all – it has an SPF, so it’s perfect for using during the summer months.
Sea Buckthorn Hand Cream - by Weleda
The second Pro-Pick of Chisato is a german classic by Weleda.
“This cream is particularly nice as it is has luxuriously creamy quality which absorbs into the skin quickly without leaving your hands feeling greasy.”
