During the shoot of our latest story “Great Hair – Don’t Care” we had a rummage around our gorgeous models’ handbags to find out what products they use to keep them looking picture perfect.
Carrying around a little sample of perfume is a great idea – and how cute is this one from Marc Jacobs? Some creamy Shea lip butter acts as a soothing fix for chapped lips and for quick touch-ups, Portia uses a MAC concealer called “Matchmaster” in the shade 7.
Alice keeps it simple and 2 of her favourite products revolve around her brows. She likes to apply brown eyeshadow from MAC with her Eco Tools “Shade & Define” brush and then nourish her lips with this asian menthol lip chap.
As a model you want to look your best. Ellie does so by using the Tom Ford translucent finishing powder to perfect her porcelain skin. To top up her look she uses a pinky nude lipstick from MAC. An absolute must is also her Sage & Sea Salt cologne from Jo Malone, which she always carries around in her purse.
Our gorgeous plus-size model Laura keeps it natural and practical – which is why she counts on Elizabeth Arden’s “Eight Hour Cream” as an amazing all-rounder, her RMS Beauty “Un cover-up” concealer from RMS Beauty, and lastly (just in case) her Pitrok crystal roll-on deodorant. Great versatile products for on-the-go.
Lovely Polish Kate, relies on her Ziaja gentle make-up remover from her home country and keeps her travel essentials super simple – a Nivea tin to moisturise and a spooli to brush through her amazing brows. That’s it – simple, inexpensive and effective.
