The Team Behind The "Chola Girl" Look
Paris Fashion Week – besides Mrs. West‘s new bleached hair-do, one look particularly stood out in social media and the beauty news. Givenchy‘s Autumn/Winter Ready-To-Wear show and it’s “Chola Girl” make-up and hair look.
With Pat McGrath‘s oriental inspired facial adornments, Luigi Murenu‘s looped braids and gelled on baby-hairs and not to forget Creative Director Riccardo Tisci‘s vision – this look screams MAX.
So how would a look like this trickle down to the mainstream? Because let’s face it, we are not going to start running arounds like that to Tesco’s. We have broken down the runway look for you into 3 categories and transformed it from MAX to MIN – for an everyday style.

No Make-Up Make-Up
Unfortunately most of us are not blessed with model-like skin and can therefore not rock the no foundation look. To create a flawless finish and still look like you just woke up like this, we recommend a tinted moisturiser – such as the one from Laura Mercier. With it’s soft hint of colour it enhances the look of your skin without hiding it. First step of the Givenchy transformation – done!

Sleek Hair
Next step is the hair – and no – we are not going to start glueing our little baby-hairs to our foreheads. We do however love the slicked-back style. Part your hair at the centre and with a brush and some finishing serum, and pull it back into a low ponytail. Using the Phytolisse Ultra Glossing Finishing Serum, tame fly-aways, make your hair look healthy and glossy (without looking greasy), and create the desired polished look.

Pearl Overload
Last but not least the jewellery. We love the pearl accessories that are placed all over the model’s face. Taking this look as an inspiration – we found these Topshop Pearl Earcuffs, which take preppy pearls and transforms them into a rock and punk-chic look.
