There is a whole world of nail accessories out there…clever, fun…and can be simple to do. Here are some easy ways to get a complicated nail look.

Nail Studs
Simple but beautiful. We love these nail-stud looks created by the clever people at Paintbox in New York.
Now…we are not saying that you must fly to NY for a stud manicure…but we like them so much we thought it might inspire you to try it on your own.
How to apply studs:
(This method will usually hold small studs for 4-5 days).
Step 1. Find a tweezer and lay out your studs – you don’t want to be fiddling when your nails are wet!
Step 2. Paint your nails as you normally would, but don’t apply your top coat. Working one nail at a time, apply a clear polish to the nail, and carefully place your stud. Make sure the clear polish you use isn’t fast drying unless you’re prepared to work at lightning speed.
Step 3. Once you’re happy with the placement of your studs, apply a clear top coat to seal them.
The key to a successful stud look? Keep it simple.
