Hot Red

NIC:
I love a red lip and my feeling is you can go hard or you can go home. I have a few favourite red lipsticks. For a blue tone red, I love MAC Russian Red and for an orange tone lip I love the new Estée Lauder Kendall Jenner red.

SAM:
Estée Lauder Kendall Jenner lipstick. It’s a vibrant orange red that looks equally beautiful accompanied by a bare face or smoky eyes.

Mellow Blue

NIC:
I find it really hard to find blue make up I love – it doesn’t work that well with my skin tone. However, MAC’s Blooz eye pencil is a very dark blue, in fact it’s almost an off black. It’s gorgeous to frame the eyes or smudge with a soft Real Techniques shading brush.

SAM:
Urban Decay 24/7 pencil in Sabbath. It’s a beautiful, inky navy blue that is a stunning and flattering alternative to black.

Jealous Green

NIC:
I recently bought a Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerise cream eyeshadow in Veruschka. It’s a dark green and lasts all day. I also love Mac Humid eyeshadow smudged over the top of it.

SAM:
I’m actually not a huge fan of green make up on me but I recently tried a MAC Kohl Eyeliner in Tarnish which was really nice.

Girly Pink

NIC:
My favourite girlie pink product would be Tom Ford’s cream cheek colour in Pink Sand. It’s a lovely highlighter with the most beautiful pink tone.

SAM:
I’m not that into girly pink. I like hot pink more. Illamasqua do a stunning matte pink lipstick called Corrupt.

Powerful Purple

NIC:
I have green eyes and I really find that purple makes my eyes stand out. I love MAC Trax eyeshadow and I like to use it over the top of their Powersurge Eye Kohl pencil as it has a gold tone. When you place the Trax over the top of it, the colour really pops out.

SAM:
Chanel do a great purple eyeshadow stick – I actually used it on the shoot.
